Since 2005 – management consulting for Russian law firms and legal departments; training and re-training for lawyers. Participant and trainer in Russian and international courses, seminars and trainings aimed at individual and corporate legal professional development.

Co-founder of LegalStudies.RU: Independent Legal Initiative (2004).

Since 2001 – professional focus on development of legal profession in Russia and other CIS-countries, on management, quality and commercial efficiency in legal practice. Stakeholder of numerous Russian and international projects aimed at research, policy advice and best practices’ implementation in a field of legal profession and law firm management (beneficiaries include, in particular, the Constitutional Court, Supreme Economic Court, Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation).

Professional experience since 1993.

Professional experience in several Russian, foreign and international law firms and legal departments.

Independent legal practice since 1998 (since 2001 – as an off-council in the legal and business development matters for several Russian and international law firms).

Since 1997 –international projects aimed at development of the professional software in a field of legal knowledge management.

Solid management experience in international projects in a field of legal consulting in private, public and non-governmental sectors.

From 2003 till August 2007 – local representative of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation from the auspices of the German Federal Ministry of Justice.

Academic background:

• Graduated from the Moscow State Lomonossov-University Law Faculty with honors;

• Doctor of Law;

• LL.M. (European Business Law) at the Catholic University of Nijmegen (The Netherlands);

• Post-graduate studies, assistant professor and researcher at several universities in Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Hungary

• Since 1998 – teacher in the Moscow State Lomonossov-University Law Faculty (Comparative Contract Law).
