Terms and Conditions

Moscow, 24th October 2007

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions applies to the IBA Conference “Law Firm Management: Development Strategies for Law Firms in Russia and other CIS Countries” that is due to take place on the 4th of December 2007 in Moscow (hereinafter referred to as "the Conference"), as well as to the Conference Dinner scheduled for the 3rd of December 2007 in Moscow.

Standard conditions that usually apply for other conferences arranged by the IBA, shall apply to the Conference and its participants. Specific provisions set up in these Terms and Conditions, shall prevail.

Conference venue is Conference Hall Yaroslavl in Ноtel Golden Ring (5 Smolenskaya Street, Moscow, Russia, 119121)

2. Registration fee

Participation (incl. speakers) at the Conference on 4th of December is subject to the following relevant registration fee:

2.1. Privileged Registration fee for IBA member registered by November 1, 2007 (early IBA-member registration fee) – Euro 290,-;

2.2. Privileged Registration fee for IBA member – Euro 320,-;

2.3. Privileged Registration fee for one participant registered by November 1, 2007 (early registration fee) – Euro 350,-;

2.4. Registration fee for one participant – Euro 420,-.

Additional 10% corporate discount applies for 2 and more participants per company (participants should be listed in one Registration Form to be filled in and by their company).

Fees include

- Attendance at all working sessions

- Conference materials, including any available speakers’ papers submitted to the Administrator of the Conference (LegalStudies.RU)

- Lunch on 4 December

- Tea and coffee during breaks

- Invitation to hosted reception on 4 December.

 3. Conference Dinner

Conference Dinner (buffet reception) will be served at 19.00 on the 3rd of December, 2007, in the ‘Afisha’ Hall of the Extropolis Conference Centre (Trekhprudniy Pereulok 9, Moscow). Participation in the Conference Dinner is voluntary and subject to additional fee amounted to Euro 65,- per person. Every Conference Participant is free to choose for her\his participation in the Conference Dinner, as well as for inviting a company/quest thereto. Attention: Total number of quests of the Conference Dinner is limited; registration for the Conference dinner will be held on ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.

4. Payment of registration fees

Registration fee and fee for participation at the Conference Dinner shall be paid by bank transfer based on the invoice, which will be sent to participant after Administrator of the Conference receives the registration form. Please ensure that the invoice nr. appears on the bank transfer.

5. Cancellation of registration

If cancellation is received in writing at the Administrator of the Conference (LegalStudies.RU) by Friday 23 November, fees will be refunded less a 50 per cent administration charge. We regret that no refunds can be made after this date.

6. Conference thesis

Еvery participant registered at the Conference has the right to present his/her thesis on the issues of the Conference sessions to the Administrator of the Conference before 19 November 2007. It should be no more than 1 page of A4 document (Word)  iba2007@legalstudies.ru.

7. List of participants

In order for your name to appear in the list of participants, which will be distributed at the conference, your registration form must be received by 27 November at the latest.

8. Language

All working sessions and conference materials will be in English and/or in Russian. The simultaneous (English-Russian-English)  translation during the working sessions will be organized.
